To all the associates, clients, creatives, friends, mentors, professors and strangers, whose words and works, knowingly or not, inspired these words. And, to all who no longer speak to me, nor I to them, some of you have been my greatest teachers.
To the memory of my namesake, my grandfather, Charles Schwartz, and his first wife Josephine, who lovingly labored to provide an abode of unconditional love, which abundantly spilled over into my life.
To my parents, Anne and Roger Scott, for their encouragement, friendship, love and robust dedication to fostering my growth.
To Jane Petreycik for her editorial willingness to shred these words so that they could be reassembled to work better.
To the lioness of my heart, Kathryn Petreycik, whose flames of encouragement and unconditional love have lifted my soul to higher dimensions. And, in a similar manner as Mark Twain’s wife, whose “mighty pen” did strike my less reasonable thoughts and elevated the others in cherished manner not uncommon from sensible women.
And to all who read this – thanks for the opportunity to share!
